Growing up on Long Island, the seashore and the outdoors in general became an integral part of my life. Later on we moved to the Pennsylvania area, and settled in Chester County, which is a beautiful area and is an endless source of inspiration. Even so our vacations are primarily focused on the shore. I've always been interested in the arts, especially painting and drawing. I use my artwork as an attempt at representing the essence of what I see in the world around me.
I have exhibited at several galleries, including my own frame shop/gallery in Hockessin, Delaware, which I enjoyed running for over 10 years. As a juried artist I have displayed in several galleries and have been accepted to many shows at local art centers. Working primarily in oils, I enjoy capturing scenes of the beautiful farmland in the Chester County area in Pennsylvania, and water and beach scenes from the New Jersey and Delaware shores. Other works include urban scenes from local towns such as West Chester, Kennett Square, and Downingtown, and occasionally some locations in Philadelphia. As we travel more now I have been painting new areas, such as the Florida coast, scenes in Italy, upstate New York, and whatever comes my way. Commissioned work such as house portraits are available to be done on request. If you have a particular interest I would be glad to consider painting it. So please have a look through our catalog of paintings; most works are shown for sale as framed. Measurements are width by height. If something catches your interest, please go to the contact page and send an email or call (or text) for more information! |
