sometimes we notice large trees as we pass them by, and a quick thought in our mind says “wow, that’s an amazing tree”, but we’re so busy with our lives, we usually keep going and ignore the impulse to slow down and really look at the tree, maybe touch it and find out what it feels like. Luckily with this tree I took that extra step to grab a photo from across the pond and spent some time trying to reproduce some of the majestic feeling the tree evokes.
